The TSV 1883 bow is a sports club from the charming town arch . In addition to the successful football department, the club also offers basketball, athletics, tennis and table tennis.
history
The club was founded in 1883 as a gymnastics club. After the end of the Second World War , the city's sports clubs, including 1. FC Bogen, founded in 1926, gathered in the ASV Bogen, which was re-established on September 12, 1945 in the “Berghammer” restaurant on Bahnhofsstraße. In 1949 it got its current name.
The football players of TSV Bogen rose to the second amateur league for the first time in 1953, but only stayed there for a year. 1972 succeeded the renewed promotion to the district league, to which the club belonged until 1985 without interruption. Then the club rose to the C-class. Between 2006 and 2012 the club rose continuously from the district class to the Bavarian regional league . In its first regional league season, the club secured the championship and promotion to the Bayern League two game days before the end of the season .
