The TSV Lingenfeld (officially: Gymnastics and Sports Association 03 Lingenfeld eV ) is a sports club from Lingenfeld in the district of Germersheim . The first soccer team played for one season in the soccer regional league Vorderpfalz .

history

Soccer

The football department was founded in 1935. The first team was group champions of the district league in 1950 and rose to the next season in the state league, which was then the highest amateur division. With 10:46 points and a goal difference of 41: 103, the club rose again for the next season. In 1953 a large part of the department separated from the club in order to found 1. FC Lingenfeld . This was dissolved again in 1963 and all former members rejoined the TSV.

In the 2003/04 season the club played in the district center . In the 2005/06 season the team was then champion with 63 points and rose to the next season in the district league . In which in the first season even the third place was there. After the 2012/13 season, the club then rose again with 24 points in third from bottom of the table. From now on, the team should play in the A-Class Rhein-Mittelhaardt. After several third places, TSV was 13th in the table after the 2018/19 season. With 35 points, the team had just as many points as the DJK-SV Phönix Schifferstadt II in 14th place, so on June 15, 2019, it was in a decider for the last relegation place which the TSV lost 2-0 . The team was relegated to the B-Class, in which it still plays today.
