The TSV Trebgast is a sports club based in the Upper Franconian village of Trebgast . In addition to the formerly successful football department, the club also offers karate, hiking and women's gymnastics. There is also a shooting group and a section for carnival friends.
history
The club was founded in 1920 as a gymnastics club. Even before the First World War , football was played in the club. After the end of the war it was first renamed ASV Trebgast , then TSV Trebgast . The club recorded the greatest success in its history with its football department at the end of the 1970s, when it was promoted to the Bavarian League as champion of the Landesliga Nord and came seventh there in the first year. After four years in the top Bavarian league, it went back in 1981 .
