TVR (Ireland)

TVR was an assembly plant for motor vehicles and thus part of the automotive industry in Ireland .

Company history

The company was based on Marlborough Lane across from Marlborough Road in Donnybrook , a suburb of Dublin . Jim Fitzgerald and Joe Armonici ran it. They assembled automobiles from 1969 to 1970. The parts came from TVR in the UK .

vehicles

The company made sports cars. This was unusual for Irish assembly plants, which for the most part assembled sedans .

Production numbers

The production number remained very low. One source thinks that there were probably four vehicles.
