The TV 1890 eV Rüsselsheim-Haßloch (TVH or TVH Rüsselsheim for short) was founded in 1890 as a gymnastics club in Haßloch . Today the club has over 1,800 members and is one of the largest sports providers in Rüsselsheim am Main .

The range of sports on offer comprises nine departments, including aerobics , golf , soccer , coronary sports , athletics , tennis , gymnastics , sailing and skiing .

In the higher sports leagues, the TVH is best known for its soccer and tennis teams .

history

In a first mood of optimism, 33 gymnastics enthusiasts founded an active gymnastics team on May 20, 1890, headed by Peter Schollmeyer. The founding members were particularly recorded in the annals: Ludwig Bomer, Karl Bredel, Anton Gundolf, Martin Hartmann, Johann Hartmann, Philipp Kneip, Anton Mathes, Johann Rendel, Johann Rötger, Fritz Roosen, Heinrich Roosen, Anton Schader, Georg Schader, Joseph Schader , Johann Schneider, Philipp Schneider, Peter Schollmeyer.

The community assigned the new club a gymnasium, for which they had to pay a rent of 8.80 marks in 1898.

In the beginning there were only seven active gymnasts, by 1896 there were already 26 active gymnasts. A distinction was made between active, inactive members and pupils, that was the young people; Children have not yet been accepted. In order to be accepted, the candidate, including the pupil, had to pay an “entry fee of 50 pfennigs”.

To date, the association has grown to 1,800 active members.

Today the TVH offers sport in 9 departments, each with an even more diversified offer.

As part of the association of club-free golfers, the still young golf department offers golf enthusiasts the opportunity to learn golf and gain experience in tournaments regardless of the high club membership fees .

Tennis youth performance squad
