history

The club was founded in 1981, making it one of the oldest American football clubs in Finland. TAFT celebrated its greatest successes in the senior sector in the mid-eighties. After the Finnish championship in 1985, the club won the first Eurobowl in 1986 . In 1989 they were able to take third place in the Vaahteraliiga again . In 1994 A-Juniors were able to win the Finnish championship.

In 1992, the club rose from the Vaahteraliiga, in 1995 and 1998 they played again for a year in the top league, but without success.

After no teams could be provided for a few years, the men have started again since 2007 and the youth since 2006. The club is paying more attention to the youth sector, which is already bearing fruit, in 2008 the B-Juniors won the Finnish championship. The club offers American football for young people between the ages of 9 and 21 (E to A youth).
