Missile Forces and Artillery Day
The day of the missile forces and artillery is a holiday for the artillery troops of the Soviet and Russian forces , which on 19 November, the day of the beginning year of the counter-offensive at Stalingrad is celebrated.

It was introduced on October 21, 1944 as "Artillery Day". During Operation Uranus, the artillery offensive concept was used in full for the first time. And it is emphasized that only the artillery was superior to the enemy.
On November 17, 1964, it was renamed "Day of the Rocket Forces and Artillery".
