Day of German Schlager
With the day of the German Schlager is since 2009 German-language of the German hit clubs and fan clubs artist German Schlager celebrated. The Day of German Schlager takes place annually on the third Saturday in January. The date for the campaign and memorial day is historically based on the ZDF hit parade , which was first broadcast on January 18, 1969.
history
The day of remembrance goes back, among other things, to the holder of the Federal Medal of Merit Robert Bosch, ambassador for the German Schlager, and is an initiative of the culture and society association Schlagerfreunde Essen 1996 e. V. based in Essen . The first day of the German hit on January 17, 2009 was under the patronage of Dieter Thomas Heck , the first and long-time presenter of the ZDF hit parade.
