Tagant plateau
The Tagant Plateau is a stony plateau in Mauritania . The plateau is part of the Sahara . The Mauritanian administrative district of Tagant is named after the Tagant Plateau.

The Tagan Plateau is located in Mauritania and forms a western branch of the Sahara. The plateau is bounded by the surrounding slopes.
nature
The Tagant Plateau is very poor in vegetation. The landscape is characterized by desert sand, dunes and rocks.
