Day room

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A family room (. English micro stay , dt about. Micro stay ; also: daycation ) is a journal of hotel rooms for less than 24 hours, in which guests can choose staying free of the check-in time and length. This enables the hotels to increase their turnover by renting the room several times over a day. This is used, for example, by business travelers for work or meetings or to bridge longer stays before, between or after flights.

Such an offer can increasingly be found in various hotels up to the luxury class - especially near airports and business centers. It is not to be confused with hourly hotels that also provide rooms for shorter periods, but where sexual motives are in the foreground. These are possible for day rooms, but the term is more neutral due to the broader user group.
