TGB ("Taiwan Golden Bee") was founded in 1965 as "Taiwan Vespa Co. Ltd." founded. Piaggio scooters were manufactured for the Taiwanese market under an Italian license.

Distribution in Germany
Since 2001 the vehicles have been imported exclusively by the Zweirad -kauf-Genossenschaft (ZEG) in Cologne. The sale took place u. a. by the ZEG since 1997 under the name Pegasus .
