The Taiwanese national women's volleyball team is a selection of the best Taiwanese players who represent the Chinese Taipei Volleyball Association in international tournaments and internationals. Because of the political conflict with the People's Republic of China , the Republic of China team will officially compete under the name “ Chinese Taipei ”.

World Championship

The Taiwanese women finished eleventh in 1990 when they first participated in a volleyball world championship .

Olympic games

Taiwan has never qualified for the Olympic Games.

Asian Championship

The Taiwanese women finished fourth in their first Asian volleyball championship in 1983. After the missed tournament in 1987, they took this place four times from 1989 to 1997. They were fifth only in 1991. This result occurred four times in a row from 1999 to 2005. In 2007 it was only sixth.

World cup

Taiwan has never played in the World Cup .

World Grand Prix

At the World Grand Prix , Taiwan came twelfth in 1994 and 2007.
