Takako Shimazu
Takako Shimazu (born March 2, 1939 ) is the younger sister of Akihito , the emperor emeritus of Japan , and Masahito Hitachi and the aunt of the incumbent Tennō , Naruhito .
In 1960 she married a commoner and had to renounce her aristocratic status because of the law on the imperial family passed in 1947 .
