Takashi Fukunishi ( Japanese 福西 崇 史 Fukunishi Takashi ; born September 1, 1976 in Ehime ) is a former Japanese football player.

From 1995 to 2009 he played for Júbilo Iwata . He enjoyed a high reputation in the J-League and has been voted into the best team of the season several times. He was considered a specialist in long-range shots, which also made him a dangerous goal scorer.

On June 29, 1999, the defensive midfielder made his senior national team debut against Peru. Since the 2002 World Cup he has been represented in all tournaments until now. Among other things, he scored the 1-0 (final score 3: 1) against China in the final of the 2004 Asian Cup . He was used once at the 2002 World Cup and twice for his country at the 2006 World Cup .
