Takashi Sorimachi
Takashi Sorimachi ( Japanese 反 町 隆 史 , Sorimachi Takashi , actually Takashi Noguchi ; born December 19, 1973 in Urawa (today: Urawa-ku , Saitama ), Saitama Prefecture ) is a Japanese television actor and singer who has starred in manga films such as GTO (Great Teacher Onizuka) live action and the beach boys dorama series became popular especially as a teenage idol.
Sorimachi began his career in the 80s as a background dancer and musician for various boy groups . He later worked as a model, becoming known for fashion companies such as Benetton outside of Japan. He went to television at the age of 21 and had his first major role on Virgin Road in 1997 . His breakthrough came with the Beach Boys series (1997). In the same year he started his musical career with the film music from Beach Boys .
In 2001 he married his acting partner from the television series Great Teacher Onizuka , Nanako Matsushima .
Sorimachi has a large fan base in Japan, but there are also critics who state that he has no talent as an actor.
