Takeda Nobuchika
Takeda Nobuchika ( Japanese 武田 信 親 ; * 1541 ; † 1582 ) was a son of Takeda Shingen . He was born blind and therefore could not be heir to the Takeda clan. Therefore, his father called him Takeda Shingen Unno Nobuchika ( 海 野 信 親 ), which made him a follower of this clan of Shinano province, and Shingen's influence there. During the invasion of Oda Nobunaga in 1582 after the defeat of the Takeda in the Battle of Nagashino , he died by suicide in which he swallowed poison.
After the administration was taken over by the first Shogun and last of the three unifiers, Tokugawa Ieyasu , the Takeda graves were placed under protection and Nobuchika's son Nobumitsu is said to have been personally protected on the orders of Ieyasu.
