Takht-e Safar

Takht-e Safar (تختٔ سفر, Tacht e Şafar) is a park in Herat in Afghanistan .

The park is a popular recreational destination in Herat and offers beautiful views over the city and has often hosted musical performances. The hilly area in the park rises to 984 m above sea level . The neighboring mountains rise at a distance of about 1 km up to 1161 m. The park is close to the Gazer Gah Sharif pilgrimage site ( Khaja Abdulah Ansari Pilgrimages ) and part of the area has been cut off for the Indian consulate.
