Taklep (also: High Island , Hohe Insel , Tagelib Island , Takareppu-tō , Takleb , Tak-lïb , Taklib Island ) is a motu of the Arno Atoll of the Pacific republic of the Marshall Islands .

geography

Taklep is located in the north of the Arno Atoll, east of the Taklep Passage and the island of Enedrik . The island forms another south-facing corner of the atoll. It forms a double island with the neighboring East Taklep ( Tagelib East , Takareppuiisuto-tō , Takareppu Isoto To , Takareppullsuto-To , Taklebej , Tak-lïb-ej ; ). It is considered a high island and reaches a height of about 16  m . To the east, the narrow reef edge stretches without further motu to the eastern tip at Ijoen .
