Takvor Nalyan

Takvor Nalyan (* 1843 , † around 1877) was an Armenian actor, teacher, translator and author. He taught in Egypt and Constantinople until 1868. He joined Agop Güllü's theater troupe in 1868 . Takvor Nalyan starred in many of the Gedik Paşa Theater plays (later known as the Ottoman Theater ). He translated all the pieces, vaudevilles and operettas that Agop Güllü's troupe performed in Ottoman or Armenian. He was the librettist of the famous operetta Leblebici Horhor Ağa by Dikran Çuhacıyan.
