The Talmuseum Engelberg (spelling: Tal Museum Engelberg ) is a local history museum in the listed coat of arms in Engelberg in the canton of Obwalden in Switzerland .

The museum has existed since 1988. The collection was founded by Maria Amstutz (1915–1980), the last resident and owner of the coat of arms house. The museum is run by the Josef Amstutz-Langenstein Foundation under the patronage of the Engelberg community and community. The coat of arms house is a farmhouse built in 1786/87 in Engelberg's Dorfstrasse and is a listed building as a cultural asset of regional importance.

The museum shows a historical collection from the region and the rule of Engelberg Abbey as well as political and legal antiquities from the history of the rule. This includes a collection on home decor, objects of popular piety, a collection on tourism and sports history and a collection on the Alps and a relief of the Engelberg region on a scale of 1: 10,000. The main focus of the museum's collection is on visual media such as photographs, postcards, posters, Leidhelgeli and films.

Historical living rooms in the state of the late 18th century can also be viewed in the coat of arms house. This includes, for example, the corner of God and devotional images as typical elements of the local Catholic culture.

In addition to the permanent exhibition, temporary exhibitions on the cultural history of the region, contemporary art and photography from the 19th and 20th centuries are shown.
