Tamara Vasilyevna Evplova

Tamara Wassiljewna Jewplowa ( Russian Тамара Васильевна Евплова ; * 1937 in Moscow ) is a Soviet foil fencer and world champion.

Tamara Jewplowa began taking fencing lessons at the age of 14. Her coach Dawid Duschman recognized her talent and promoted her so that she was appointed to the Soviet national team at the age of 18. In 1956 she was team world champion in London .
