Tamprusi (people)

The Tamprusi (also: Tampele , Tampulma ) are a people in Ghana with approx. 16,000 (2003) members. The language of the Tamprusi is the Tampulma from the group of Gur languages . The Tampusi live in around 25 villages in northern Ghana in the Upper East Region in the Domongo District, completely surrounded by the neighboring Mamprusi people .
