The Tangrintler Nachrichten (TN) was a local weekly newspaper with a publishing house in Hemau . The distribution area included the communities Hemau, Painten, Laaber and Beratzhausen. The Heimatblatt published only local news and was the smallest weekly newspaper in Bavaria in terms of its presentation and design. In December 2016, the last edition of the Tangrintler Nachrichten was published after 39 years.

founding

The newspaper was founded in 1977 by Herbert Mirbeth and has appeared on Fridays since the first edition on September 2, 1977. 50 issues appeared annually. The editorial concept of the local newspaper corresponded to the founding idea: The TN reflects life on the Tangrintel with all its peculiarities and characteristics.

Edition

The Heimatblatt achieved a circulation of just over 2,000 copies. Special publications on specific topics (such as folk festivals, citizens' festivals, trade shows, etc.) were printed in larger numbers and distributed through additional distribution channels.

Editorial peculiarities

In the Tangrintler Nachrichten , only home news was found, but this was in several departments (such as local politics, sport, church, associations), so that public life in the publication area was almost completely depicted.
