Tappi Tíkarrass was a four-piece Icelandic punk band that existed from 1981 to 1983. Björk , who later became internationally known as a solo artist, was the group's singer; in several Icelandic films she made the band known nationwide. Björk even became the cover girl for the video and LP Rokk í Reykjavík , the most famous documentary about the Icelandic music scene of the 1980s.

Tappi Tíkarrass means cork the bitch's ass and comes from the bassist's father's comment after hearing the band for the first time.
