Taratil

Taratil or Tradil ( Aramaic plural form of Tirtileh) are oriental hymns with Christian-religious content. The taratil are sung during the service . Taratil are known throughout the Middle East (Lebanon, Egypt, etc.) and are musically set to typical oriental music. Every oriental church ( Maronite , Coptic ) has its own taratil.
