Collective agreement initiative of student employees

The nationwide collective bargaining initiative for student employees at universities (Tarifini) was founded in February 2002 in Steinbach near Frankfurt am Main . Among the founders were members of local and regional collective agreement initiatives, trade unions organized students and university political activists and interested parties. The aim of the initiative is the collective bargaining and personnel law protection of all student employees at scientific institutions , which at least stipulates the national standards that have been valid in Berlin since 1981. Tarifini is supported by the trade unions GEW and Ver.di , student initiatives and associations, the student umbrella organization fzs , various local student representatives, the Berlin staff councils for student employees, party-affiliated university groups and individual committed students.
