Tasawaq is a northern Songhai language spoken by around 8,000 people living in Niger (as of 1998) .
It is divided into the Ingelsi spoken around Ingall and the now-extinct language of Agadez . Most closely related it is with at the Algerian - Moroccan border at Tabelbala spoken also of sedentary Korandje Language .
