Tashi Dor is a peninsula in Nam Co , a salt lake in the Tibet Autonomous Region of the People's Republic of China . The area around Tashi Dor has been declared a national park.

On the peninsula is a small Nyingmapa monastery, built around a cave and hiding behind two mighty red rocks with a multitude of prayer flags. Hermitages , small cave temple, Yak skulls with inscriptions, mani and a nunnery are also to be found on the peninsula. Nomad shepherds often set up camp on Tashi Dor. There is a considerable diversity of birds. Flocks of migratory birds can be observed between April and November. The black-necked crane , the symbol of Ladakh , is particularly easy to spot here.
