Tatar buckwheat tea

Tatar buckwheat tea or Tartar buckwheat tea ( Chinese  苦荞 茶 , pinyin kǔqiáochá , English tartary buckwheat tea ) is an infusion drink . It is made from roasted seeds of Tartar buckwheat ( Fagopyrum tartaricum Gaertn;. Chin dada qiáomài鞑靼荞麦"Tartar buckwheat" or kǔqiáomài苦荞麦"Bitter Buckwheat"), a plant type from the genus buckwheat ( Fagopyrum ) in the family of Polygonaceae(Polygonaceae). This pseudo-grain is less sensitive to cold than normal buckwheat and can therefore also be grown in higher mountain locations or colder regions.

It belongs to the traditional remedies. The seeds in the infusion can also be consumed.
