Tatul Island (English; Bulgarian остров Татул ostrow Tatul ) is a triangular, 350 m long and up to 200 m wide island off the north coast of Robert Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It is located 0.95 km west-northwest of Newell Point .
Bulgarian scientists mapped it in 2008. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it that same year after the town of Tatul in the Bulgarian Rhodope Mountains .
