The Newell Point is a headland in the north of Robert Iceland in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It marks the southwest boundary of the northwest entrance to Nelson Strait .
Scientists from the British Discovery Investigations mapped and named it in 1935. The namesake is not known.
