Tatyana Krivobokova

Tatyana Krivobokova is a Kazakh mathematician.

Life

After graduating in applied mathematics (June 1996) in Almaty ( thesis : On the inverse boundary value problem for a loaded heat operator supervisor: MT Jenaliev), she was a student assistant at Fraunhofer IESE from December 2000 to March 2003 . After completing a Master of Science in Financial Mathematics (August 2002) at the Technical University of Kaiserslautern ( Master's thesis : Optimal portfolios with given payments Supervisor: Ralf Korn ), from April 2003 to March 2007 she was a research assistant at the Chair of Statistics in Bielefeld . After her doctorate in statistics (January 2007) Bielefeld University (dissertation: Theoretical and practical aspects of penalized spline smoothing Reviewers: Göran Kauermann and Ludwig Fahrmeir ) she was a postdoctoral fellow from April 2007 to June 2008 at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven at the research center “Operations Research and Business Statistics ". From July 2008 to May 2010 she taught as a junior professor (W1 with tenure track ) at the University of Göttingen Courant Research Center: “Poverty, Equity and Growth in Developing and Transition Countries”. Since June 2010 she has been a professor (W2) in Göttingen at the Institute for Mathematical Stochastics.
