Tauernhaus Ferleiten

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Tauernhaus Ferleiten was a Tauernhaus in the inner Fuscher Tal (Ferleitental).

The Tauernhaus Ferleiten was already the 14th century in a Salzburg center Urbar than Schwaige Verlatten mentioned. Already at that time it was provided with commissions for looking after the Tauernweg from the Salzburg Fuscher Tal to the Carinthian Mölltal . At the end of the 15th century, the Schwaige was already divided into the Vöglergut and the Altjudengut. The two estates were only reunited in 1821. In the meantime, however, the commission was paid out to both estates in a split form, with each farm receiving 8 Metzen rye and 20 Metzen oats. The commission was paid out until 1848, from 1853 the commission was converted into a cash payment, with between 70 and 95 guilders being paid out. After the construction of the Grossglockner High Alpine Road in the 1930s, the Tauernhaus lost its central importance. The cash benefits were also discontinued. The Tauernhaus subsequently served as the "Tauerngasthof". The building was rebuilt on a smaller scale after a fire in 1982.
