Tauksi (German: Tauks ) is an Estonian Baltic Sea island in Väinameri . Administratively it belongs to the municipality of Haapsalu in Lääne County . It also includes 78 islands, of which Tauksi is the largest.
Tauksi has an area of 2.5 km². It is the largest island in the Matsalu National Park . Tauksi is particularly known for its rich fauna with swans , tufted ducks , redshanks , black godwit and curlews .
