Tautas control

Tautas kontrole ( TK ; German  People's Control ) is a political party in Latvia. It sees itself as a centrist party.

The party already ran under the same name in the 2010 parliamentary elections and failed to pass the five percent hurdle with 0.41% of the vote . The chairman of the board is entrepreneur Anatolijs Romaņuks - party chairman Rihards Jablokovs . For the 2011 election , a list of 88 candidates was submitted without a seat in parliament.

Party platform

The party is eurosceptic and blames the current parties in the Saeima for the “complete collapse of the economic and social system”. In the event of an election victory, TK promises, among other things, to lower income tax and corporate tax and to implement an agricultural reform . The constitution is to be changed to reduce the number of members of parliament to 40 and to allow voters to recall their deputies during the legislative period. In terms of foreign policy, the party wants to negotiate more favorable membership provisions for Latvia in NATO .
