The TeDo Verlag GmbH is a specialist publisher for trade and industry with headquarters in Marburg . As of 2019, the publisher is issuing seven specialist magazines. history
TeDo Verlag was founded by Jamil Al-Badri and started out in the publisher's garage. In the spring of 1988, at the Hanover Fair , the first issue of SPS-MAGAZIN appeared, the magazine for automation technology, whose target group are users from the mechanical and plant engineering sector. In 2000 the trade magazine IT & Production was published for the first time, which is aimed at operations and production managers. The growth of the publishing house made it necessary to move to its current location in 2002. An extension in 2009 was necessary to create new capacities for the growing publishing house.

The specialist media of TeDo Verlag are primarily aimed at the mechanical and plant engineering, electrotechnical, automotive and supplier industries, chemical, pharmaceutical and food industries, medical technology, electrical installation and the electrical trade, system integrators and IT consulting.
