Te Wakatehaua Island is an island in the Far North District of the Northland region on the North Island of New Zealand .
The island is located in the Tasman Sea about 100 m northwest of Ninety Mile Beach, called "The Bluff" . It is about 550 m long and 200 m wide and reaches a height of 7 m.
