Tea at Five

Tea at Five is an American play by author Matthew Lombardo , in which the life of Hollywood actress Katharine Hepburn is traced through monologues by a single actress . It is based on Hepburn's biography "Me: Stories of My Life".

The role of Hepburn is played in the current production, which has toured several US cities, by actress Kate Mulgrew (Captain Janeway from Star Trek: Voyager ), for whom the role was also written. Her portrayal was widely praised in the American press.

An English audio book by Tea at Five was released on CD in September 2004 .
