Ponchielli Theater

The Teatro Ponchielli in Cremona is an opera house built in 1806 by the architect Luigi Canonica on the ruins of the Teatro della Società, which had previously been destroyed by fire.

It was named after Amilcare Ponchielli in 1907 on the occasion of its centenary.
