The Technical University of Cyprus ( Greek : Τεχνολογικό Πανεπιστήμιο Κύπρου or ΤΕ.ΠΑ.Κ. ), ( Turkish : Kıbrıs Teknik Üniversitesi), ( English : Cyprus University of Technology (CUT) ) was founded in 2004 as the country's first technical university . The university buildings are spread across the city. Medical training takes place, for example, at the city's General Hospital .
Since 2007, students have been teaching Greek and Turkish in five faculties at the university. The faculties are:
- Earth and environmental sciences
- Economics
- Applied arts and communication studies
- Engineering and technology
- Health sciences
