The Technical Regulations on Waterways (TR-W) provide an overview of the technical rules and standards applicable in waterways engineering in Germany . The directory is therefore of particular relevance for the Federal Waterways and Shipping Administration (WSV).
Availability
The TR-W is published by the Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure , the set of rules is provided by the Federal Institute for Hydraulic Engineering in Karlsruhe . Since 2013, the TR-W has been made available electronically via the central hydraulic engineering library . Access is free of charge.
Components
The TR-W comprises the following sections:
- Waterway-specific list of technical building regulations (WLTB) : The WSV is responsible for compliance with standards on all German waterways . The WLTB defines these requirements in the area of security, for example.
- Technical rules for construction products and types of construction - construction regulation lists A and B as well as list C : Defines the approval of construction materials in hydraulic engineering.
- Standard service catalog (STLK) / standard service book for the construction industry (STLB-Bau)
- Additional technical contractual conditions - hydraulic engineering (ZTV-W) : Defines hydraulic engineering-specific additional contractual conditions.
- Technical delivery conditions / technical test regulations (TL / TP) : Defines the requirements for building materials and their testing in hydraulic engineering.
- Lists of approvals, tested substances and recognized test centers : Lists approved construction products.
- Guidelines, information sheets, recommendations : Usually technical rules within the administration.
- Eurocodes : European series of standards EN 1990 to 1999.
- Other regulations .
- Ordinances General Directorate for Waterways and Shipping (GDWS) .
