Ted Huang

Wei Theodore "Ted" Huang (born July 4, 1970 in Los Altos Hills ) is a former US-American - Taiwanese road cyclist and windsurfer.

Life

In 1996 and 2000 , Ted Huang took part in the windsurfing competition of the Summer Olympics for Taiwan; In 1996 he was ninth and in 2000 he was 13th.

Ted Huang won a Los Gatos cycling race in 1999. In 2003 he turned pro with the US Webcor Cycling Team . In his first year there he won the Univest Grand Prix and he finished second in the Pine Flat Road Race . In the 2006 season he won the Orosi Road Race and was third overall at the Cougar Mountain stage race . In 2007, Huang won the Ross Hill Climb .

Huang is married to 2004 American time trial champion and 2006 world championship bronze medalist Christine Thorburn .
