Tegano (Solomon Islands)

Tegano (partly also Hutuana ) is a village on the island of Rennell , which belongs to the island group of the Solomon Islands and is in the province of Rennell and Bellona .

The village is located in a lake, which is also called Tegano. To the east of it is Nuipani . From there you can take a boat or walk to Tegano in 45 minutes.

The village has about 120 inhabitants. The inhabitants belong to the Seventh-day Adventists (SDA). The Tigoa Island Police Station is also responsible for Tegano. The police administration is in the hands of the provincial government.
