Teisias (Attic potter)

Teisias was possibly a Greek potter, active in the mid-6th century BC. In Athens .

It is only known from an inscription on a fragment of a rim from Naukratis , today in London, University College N 11. However, it is not certain whether this is a signature or a favorite inscription . If it's a potter, he's one of the little masters . A Teisias from Athens worked as a potter in Boeotia in the late 6th century , but the identity of the two potters is rather uncertain and unlikely.
