Teisias (Boeotian potter)
Teisias was a Greek potter who worked in Boeotia in the late 6th century BC. Chr.
So far, 15 signed vessels are known from him. He was from Athens , as he proudly added to his name in some of his signatures. He produced vessels with black varnish. The location of 13 of his vessels is known, they all come from the area of Tanagra, where his workshop was probably also located.
