Teo Krüüner

Teo Krüüner (born July 8, 1943 ) is a former Estonian major general and was in command of the local air force from 1998 to 2004 .

Life

Teo Krüüner's training as a military pilot took place in the 1960s at a Soviet flying school, later postgraduate courses in Denmark and Norway were to follow. After 25 years of service in the Air Force of the Red Army , he joined the air force in his home country that was being established in 1991. In 1996 Krüüner was appointed Deputy Commander of the Estonian Air Force. Two years later, he rose to their commanding position, having previously assumed the position as a substitute. He was promoted to brigadier general on February 24, 2003 and major general on July 20, 2004. Four days after that final promotion, he was removed from office and retired.
