Terrorizer ( Engl. , Terrorist ') is a British music magazine, which focuses on the more extreme varieties of metal , such as black metal , death metal and thrash metal , has specialized. Since 1993 published by the London publisher Dark Arts Ltd. more than 200 issues, currently every four weeks with 13 issues per year.
Each issue is now next to a poster, a sampler called Fear Candy in, beyond the magazine at irregular intervals appears with other CD -Beilagen. At the beginning three supplements appeared at irregular intervals under the name Noize Pollution , the first two as MC , the third as CD. From 1998 regular sampler supplements ( Terrorized ) were introduced, first all four editions, later more frequently.
Since 2002 special editions have been published on various sub-genres of rock and metal. These specials also deal with otherwise untypical musical subgenres such as punk and power metal for the magazine and sometimes extend over several successive issues. They usually include interviews, reviews, treatment of regional scenes , best-of lists, and sampler supplements appropriate to the topic.
