Tetrad
Tetrad ( tetrad ) stands for:
- Another word for nibble in computer science (4 bits)
- a whole consisting of four units in philosophy
- in genetics either the four chromatids of two paired chromosomes during meiosis, also called bivalent , or the four germ cells that arise during meiosis, e.g. B. pollen
- in microbiology the typical association of four spherical bacteria ( tetracocci )
- Tetrad criterion , within psychological tests e.g. Used by Charles Spearman
- A method of calculating curvature in general relativity, see Tetrad (general relativity)
