Teuthonista (magazine)

Teuthonista is the temporary name of a journal for dialectology that was published by Hermann Teuchert in 1924/25. The full name is Teuthonista. Journal for German Dialect Research and Language History . In the first edition of the magazine, the phonetic transcription of Teuthonista was presented in a separate article , which is still used today (mainly in High German dialectology ).

The name of the magazine has changed several times since it was founded in 1900:
