TextLive is a Christian, multi-denominational publisher in Switzerland .

It was founded in 1926 by Protestant deaconesses from the Ländli sister community . With headquarters in Oberägeri , Canton Zug , TextLive is a branch of the Ländli Diakonieverband . As a non-profit organization, TextLive is a service provider for Christian communities and individual Christians. The range includes print media and creative products that address questions of faith and life.

Carrier and legal form

The Diakonieverband Ländli is an independent organization and is a member of the Swiss Evangelical Alliance . He is committed to social , educational and pastoral tasks. Constituted as an association , it is led by a board of directors, which consists mainly of deaconesses. TextLive is a branch of the Diakonieverband Ländli and reports to the operational management.

history

In 1926 the Ländli paper mission began with the publication of the Christian distribution publication Volksblatt . The aim of the Volksblatt was to bring the gospel to people as the central message of God's word. Revised and redesigned several times, it is now published as a small magazine ' better than '. It is regularly passed on to young and old by Christians on a voluntary basis. The range has been expanded to include creative items that are intended to encourage people on a Christian basis. TextLive takes fair trade items into account and has various assembly work carried out in sheltered workshops.

purpose

As a publisher, TextLive supports churches, Christian communities and individual Christians with encouraging, creative print media to promote faith. TextLive is promoted and financed through donations from customers and subscribers. Available are tracts , brochures, cards and gift items that can be used in different ways. They are suitable for personal distribution , but also for church services and distribution campaigns.
